Tangerine Bolen

Currently pursuing a PhD in Public Administration and Policy and Master's in Public Health, Tangerine Bolen is passionate about pursuing intelligent and compassionate social policy that supports the health and welfare of all Oregon's citizen's. Working as a consultant in the field of Integrative Medicine, Tangerine is committed to the need for a complete shift in the way our health care system works. Specifically, she believes that by helping people understand the difference between "health" and "medicine", we can begin to increase public access while reducing costs. A seasoned health-care reform advocate, Tangerine has addressed the Clinton Commission on Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, the California State Medical Board, as well as the Oregon Legislature. She looks forward to public service that both utilizes her expertise and aids in the restoration of civility and consensus building to the political process.
