Ann Lininger

Ann Lininger grew up in Southern Oregon where her family has lived for four generations.  In 2009, she won appointment to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners, where she provides a moderate, balanced approach to leadership. Before joining the County, Lininger served as Director for Program-related Investing at the Meyer Memorial Trust.  In that role she oversaw $45 million in charitable grants and investments.  She also lead the foundation's Affordable Housing Initiative.

Lininger now uses her foundation expertise to guide the county's fundraising efforts through the federal stimulus program.  She is helping to formulate the county's economic development and renewable energy strategies.  Lininger is also assisting in a restructure of the County's Department of Human Services, through which the county seeks to safeguard vulnerable residents even in the face of reduced resources.  Trained as a lawyer, Lininger is President-elect of the Oregon Law Foundation.  Lininger has a B.A. from Yale and a J.D. from New York University.
