For the last 15 years, Salem has been home to Sheronne after having served in the U.S. Navy for just as long. She currently works worked for the Oregon Secretary of State managing performance audits of state agencies and identifying ways in which they can better accomplish their mission and manage programs more efficiently and effectively.
Sheronne has always been active in her community and for that reason, was chosen to fill a vacancy on the Salem City Council. Now, she helps the city do its work as a member of the planning commission and various other committees and task forces.
Sheronne is passionate about trying to ensure that everyone has the same opportunities for education, transportation, housing and an overall quality of life. She co-founded and chairs a local non-profit that provides birthday parties to children living in some of our local homeless shelters.
