15 Emerge Oregon Women On Your May Ballot!

Yesterday was “filing day” – the last day candidates could declare to run for elected office and be on the ballot in May.

And we are excited to share with you the 15 Emerge Oregon women running!

Only one candidate is running for re-election, 14 are running for the first time or a different office!

And nearly half are women of color, which is great news as we work toward both gender parity and elected bodies that reflect and represent our diverse communities!

None of our candidates can do it without support.

So if you would like to take action in support of Democratic women running for office, please contact us - and forward this email to your friends!

Stay tuned for more news from the campaign trail!

Sincerely,

Jillian Schoene
Executive Director
